Under Armour Sunset Tour Pop Up Events Continue

[A track near you, 8/26/2020] – The Under Armour Sunset Tour continues this Saturday,  August 29th with a few small invited professional fields. The pop-up track meet will have 3 events (2 women’s, 1 men’s) and will be the final event of the season for Sound Running. 

Boston Marathon Champ Atsede Baysa leads a deep Women’s 10,000m field and Edward Cheserek and Ben Blankenship will make their professional 10,000m debuts. The Women’s 1500m will showcase Kim Conley, Dani Jones, Kaela Edwards, Morgan Mitchell, and Rebecca Mehra. 

All races will be broadcast LIVE on Flotrack with the first event at 8:30pm PST and behind the scenes action LIVE via Sound Running’s Instagram.

“Last week gave us a little taste of the track action we’ve craved all summer.  We are excited to come back again this week and give athletes one more stop on the Tour.  We’re hopeful that next year we will be able to provide the next level events we’d originally planned for 2020 and can’t wait.”

The Under Armour Sunset Tour events will not allow spectators and will follow strict Covid-19 safety procedures requiring all participating athletes and staff to have 2 negative Covid-19 tests the week of the race.  Everyone entering the venue must go through a temperature check station, fill out the covid survey, and masks will be mandatory.
